Ts and Cs

Our Terms and Conditions

By booking a class, workshop, or private event, or buying something from us in person or online, you’re agreeing to these terms, plus our Cancellation, Returns & Refund, and Shipping & Delivery policies below.

Booking & payment. Classes, workshops, and private events are paid in full at booking, and your spot’s only confirmed once we’ve taken payment and sent your confirmation email. Spaces are limited, so it’s worth booking ahead. Occasionally we’ll need to tweak class times, instructors, or content — we’ll always give you as much notice as we can.

In the studio. You’ll be working with clay, glazes, and a hot kiln, so please follow your instructor’s guidance for your own safety and everyone else’s. Wear something you don’t mind getting a bit messy – aprons are provided, but clay and glaze can still find their way onto clothes. Let us know ahead of time about any allergies or sensitivities (clay dust and some glazes can affect people with respiratory or skin conditions). Anyone under 16 needs a paying adult with them. We can end a session without a refund if someone’s behaviour puts themselves or others at risk.

Your finished pieces. Pottery is a hands-on, slightly unpredictable craft – pieces can crack, warp, or come out of the kiln differently than expected, even when we take real care with them. That’s just part of working with clay, not a fault on our end. Please collect your finished pieces within 8 weeks – after that we may not be able to hold onto them.

Photos. We sometimes snap photos or video during sessions for our own website and socials. Just tell a member of staff if you’d rather not be in them.

Gift vouchers. Valid for 12 months from purchase, redeemable against anything we offer, but not exchangeable for cash.

The legal bit. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights, and we’re not able to limit our liability for things the law doesn’t let us limit (like negligence causing injury). We may update these terms occasionally – the version live on our site is the one that applies.
